Training for Officers Updating the Geospatial Framework and Wilkerstat for SE2026 in 2025

Prior to the training sessions, participants completed self-learning on July 11, 2025. The online training was held via Zoom Meeting on July 14, 2025 for batch 1 and July 15, 2025 for batch 2. The offline or in-person training took place at Swiss-Belhotel Manokwari on July 16, 2025 for batch 1 and July 17, 2025 for batch 2.

Through this training, it is expected that the officers will be able to carry out the mapping tasks effectively to achieve the objectives of the activity. The objectives include obtaining updated statistical work area content (Wilkerstat), an up-to-date geospatial framework, and information related to areas of economic concentration. This activity also serves as a preparatory step for the 2026 Economic Census to be conducted next year.
