Inauguration of the Statistics Loving Subdistrict (CANTIK Subdistrict) in Padarni 2025

On Friday, May 9, 2025, the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Manokwari Regency held a Socialization and Inauguration of the "Statistics-Loving Sub-district" (Kelurahan Cantik) 2025 in Padarni Sub-district, West Manokwari Regency. The Cantik Village/Sub-district Program aims to enhance literacy, awareness, and the active involvement of village/sub-district officials and the community in statistical activities, the management and standardization of statistical data, and the optimization of statistical data usage to ensure more targeted and effective village/sub-district development.

The event was attended by officials from Padarni Sub-district, representatives from the West Manokwari District, staff from BPS Manokwari Regency, as well as neighborhood and community leaders (RT/RW) from Padarni Sub-district. The event began with an opening session, followed by the signing of the inauguration charter for the Kelurahan Cantik Program by Mr. Melianus Yosep Wamafma, S.E., Head of BPS Manokwari Regency; Mr. Paul Rumbruren, S.STP., Head of Padarni Sub-district; and Mr. Untung Patur, S.E., Acting Head of West Manokwari District. The event continued with a socialization session and a Q&A led by the Cantik Sub-district Program Coordinator from BPS Manokwari Regency.
